The Main Fabric is a rich, medium-weight Black Cotton Velveteen. The Contrast Fabric is a wonderful brocade in Bright Red and gold, in an elaborate Celtic Cross design. Multiple rich trims adorn the bodice: Wide gold Venetian lace, gold jacquard ribbon with faux jewels, and intricate gold braid embedded with faux pearls. The Bodice is fully lined, interlined, and boned for support and shaping. It laces in the back through sturdy, machine-set brass grommets. The Sleeves are long and fitted, with small puffed & paned caps at the shoulders. The sleeves are lined and fully attached to the Bodice. The Underskirt has matching Red/Gold Celtic Brocade for the front panel (forepart section). The sides and back are lightweight black satin. It measures over 4 yards around at the hem, large enough to fit gracefully over Renaissance-era hoops (not included). The Split Overskirt is rich black Velveteen trimmed with matching gold braid. Both skirts are pleated onto separate flat bands, with grommets and ties for adjustability. No bulky elastic. The French Hood ties behind the hair, and features matching fabrics & trims with a black silk veil attached. * * * * * * * * * * * * SIZING: This gown fits a lady of the following body measurements: Bust - 40-43" Waist 32-34" Shoulder Width 15.5 - 17" Shoulder > Waist (over bust) 16-17" Actual Dress Measurements: Sleeve length 24", biceps 13", wrist 9.5" |
