Not inclined toward the fancy or frilly? How about
this rugged deck coat for the “Hard workin’
pyrate”(if there be such a thing). This here be a
coat fer serious plunderin’. pillagin’ or excessive
rum consumptionin’.
Another Bloody Mary Flint design, this coat shown
has a moderately full skirt, split tail to the waist,
large working pockets and an extra generously
long cuff which sports 11 buttons each. This coat
has 44 metal pewter buttons.
Coat shown is a tough woven textured charcoal
light upholstery weight fabric and lined with black
cool cotton blend. We have a limited supply of this
fabric left but this coat design would look fantastic
in any fabric. Front opening edges, cuffs and
pocket flaps are trimmed with black piping and
subtle black braid is used for the buttonholes.
This is also a modified late 17th Century style
justaucorps fitting close to the upperbody and
contoured in at the waist. This coat also has a
nice flare with a spin.
