Properly worn over a hoopslip and bumroll. A
partlet can be added if desired.
Bodice - Waist length, long curved basque front
waist. Lined, moderately boned, back lacing.
Square neckline. Front panel (stomacher) either
contrast or matching. Rounded picadils at waist.
Sleeves - Attached. Paned puff at shoulders,
Close-fitting long sleeve.
Overskirt - Split front with trimmed guards.
Knife-pleated into flat waistband.
Underskirt - Decorative contrast forepart, solid
satin body. Knife-pleated into flat adjustable
waistband. Generally hemmed 1" shorter than
overskirt.
Matching headpiece available.
